I believe that the CR site features a Wally Green frameset on which the name is hand painted on both sides of the downtube. Was this typical on Wally Green bikes? I have no idea.

Which raises another question regarding the 300 - it has Campy brakes, ders (f&r), and shifters; but only two of the three top tube brake cable clips are Campy (the third being Simplex). Did Mel Pinto import these as Campy-equipped bikes or was this an aftermarket mod? Also has a Avocet Touring Saddle which I suspect was an addition by a previous owner.

It is a duck-egg blue-green with exquisite box lining on the tubes.
