Gillotts were famous for their elegantly raked fork blades, bending them
from straight over their own former. Harry Carrington told me that Mal Rees
was desperate for a pair so Harry said he would put a pair in the post. Next
day Mal was on the phone playing hell because the blades were straight!
Norris, In answer to your request for fork blades, I have a crushed frame
(Fell under a lorry) with a pair of usable forks. Put your dividers or
calipers across the top of the blade just under the crown and let me know
the measurement.
