Duarte is a South American framebuilder. I had a friend from Trinidad/Tobago visit his shop in the early 90s and he sent pics of the shop. I dont recall if he was in Columbia or Venezuela. If i can find the pics, I will post them online somewhere. I think 300 is a steal though....

Anyone have any information of Duarte bicycles?
I checked the archives and found the following information dated 1-17-2002: 'Duarte: Columbia. Custom. Known to have used Columbus tubing.'

So is Duarte a division of the Columbia Bicycles (the ones that use to plague the department stores?) Or is Duarte a bicycle made in Columbia, South America?
