The correct answer is... 'Bambino' originally written by Roger Tabra and performed by 'Dalida'

The Singers of this version were Louison Bobet, Roger Riviere, Jacques Anquetil & Raphael Geminiani at the end of the 1959 Paris- Nice-Rome race (Paris-Nice extended to Rome in that year) The race was won by the Jean Graczyk (Fra) in 53h 36' 04". Riviere finished 7th 6' 24" back, Anquetil in 11th at 9' 35" and Geminiani in 26th, 31' 42" behind. Bobet abandoned on the last stage... Graczyk rode for Leroux-Helyett, whose team leader was Anquetil !

'Dalida' was Yolande Gigliotti, an Egyptian born singer of Italian parents who made her fortune in France. A former Miss Egypt (1954) "Bambino" was her second single recorded 1956 under her stage name of "Dalida" She tragically committed suicide in 1987.

The nearest partly correct answer (and the only attempt) was by Fred Rednor - Well done to Fred !
