The original, genuine Cinelli with correct Campagnolo was sold several months ago, I believe by a listmember who pulled the photos, but not before they had been added to some kind of scammer's library. It actually sold for just south of 5K, to Kauzo, if I'm not mistaken. The bike has been on eBay (and elsewhere), in one country or another, maybe half a dozen times, always with the same subject line, description, and photos. I alerted eBay of this latest appearance, as they've always pulled the listing in the past, but I guess they have grown weary of dealing with it. I was poised to alert anyone who decided to bid of the phony nature of the ad. My guess is that many of the people in the market for a 60s Cinelli are already aware it's a scam, and this is at least one reason the bike failed to attract any bids this go-round.
