Mitch asked about the connection between Harry and R.J. Quinn.

Not long ago, I asked the list some questions about R.J. Quinn and the British in-the-know answered some of them and their response will be found in the archives.

Harry ran a separate shop from his 2 brothers at R.J. Quinn in Liverpool. There were issues between them. In 1975 when I was learning to build frames, I remember talking to them and being surprised that the Quinn brothers learned framebuilding from their dad in the teens (like right after WW I) when they were in their early teens (like 13 years old). Even then I remember thinking that was really going back there a ways. My fading memory also remembers hearing their were 5 brothers at one time. I wish I had taken notes or had a tape recorder. A British list member can give you a much more complete and accurate answer.

So in 1975 they would have been in their late 60's or early 70's I'm guessing.
