Dale & All

Brian may know of others. Prior to Mario departing there were four track frames made in Carlsbad that I know of.

And to think I at one time owned two of them. They were, an approx. 59cm Sprint, (now demised) A 59 Pursuit, a 58 Pursuit and a 55 Sprint. All made from late 1974 to Aug 1975.

The white track bike on auction now, I would think of as a Sprint due to the 24mm for blades, is similar to one I saw about a year ago in Seal Beach, different fork crown, similar rear tip & lug treatment. I showed casual interest in the one I saw, it was not for sale I was advised, but had suffered a rebraze to the right side stay at the seatlug for reasons unknown, was due for a respray I was told.

My guess made post Carlsbad, don't know the author.

So, there are some out there, just not very many. I am trying to track down the 59 Pursuit... Maybe I will get lucky, I have a name...
