The best tire I've found for unbeaded rims like the Conloy Asps on my '48 RRA are the IRC Triathalons with wire bead. Despite being a cheap ($9. 95) Nashbar wonder, they ride really well, have a thin profile and are traditional tan sidewalls. Just keep the psi at 100 psi or lower... these will take 125 psi. I've had one blow out using these but that was purely

due to my own stupidity in not being very careful in mounting them and inflating to 125 psi.
