The non-hook rims I have are alum.32/40 spoked Ambrosio rims.First tryed cheap Kenda tires--they wouldn't stay at all.Second got the Cont.Sports 1000s they work but only to about 60lbs.Got a Black walled Specialized tire to try.or might try Nashbars as per P.C.s comment. sam lingo,pleasanton tx
