Attention classic shippers: Post Office Express Mail Services to Japan has been taken over by Fedex and is now about double the old rates.

For example, I tried to ship a set of rims via EMS, yesterday. EMS Price was 33.00. But the post office can't ship normal EMS to Japan, anymore. It now only offers GEM (guaranteed express mail). GEM seems to be some sort of satanic partnership of the USPS and Fedex. The GEM price is 65.00. The alternative is to ship via USPS parcel post air for about 29.00. Postal Rates are due to increase further in December. Good Luck.
