Thank you those that helped me with advice in aquiring my dream bike (early Merckx). I worked out a layaway plan with the shop, and hopefully within the next six months I can make it happen. It seems pretty obvious but I just didn't think of doing that. Thankyou for "the one that got away" warning. The shop has a one third down, the rest within 90 days policy but they know how badly I want it, so he said as long as I make regular payments and don't flake out on 'em that I could take as long as I need.
