This same scam came up a few weeks ago for me. I had a 1981 Bianchi which sold for $2200. Then I was pummelled with questions regarding the 2nd chance offers that people received supposedly from me. The "seller" was asking for $2000 for the second chance offer. These people are scum!!!

This past weekend I won a Richie Sachs F&F on ebay. Today I got several questions from people stating that they got emails from ebay saying that the bike was available as a second chance offer. The bike is not available, I paid for and will be taking delivery. Any second chance offers for a Sachs bicycle under auction #7182495804 is a scam at this point. Don't get sucked in, fortunatly these folks wrote me before they jumped. I have notified the seller and the others have notified ebay. Looks like the scammers are working overtime lately.
