Norm, Glad you asked. I may be needing one soon myself. (off topic really old bike) Park has this tool for 3/16" BMX chain. http://www.parktool.com/products/detail.asp?cat=5&item=CT-7

I can't imagine it not working on old inch pitch chain, but maybe you should email them and ask.
