I don't have the photos of your Medici you sent a long time ago. I don't do well at hanging on to stuff. It is possible that your Medici was built useing DuBois Nervex style lugs. I didn't see their first frames; by the time I came around (returned from some time in Alaska) they were building the frames with the IC lugs. Maybe before those were available they built some bikes with Nervex lugs. That would make sense.

My '77 Medici's lugs don't look anything like that. They have much shorter points, smaller cutouts, more graceful curves IMO, and look a lot like the pressed lugs on my '74 Italian GC. I'm starting to think my lugs aren't cast. Brian? Do you stil have the pics. of my bike that I sent you (a long time ago)? Are mine DuBois lugs maybe?
