nice Mondia frame here, 59cm..
Sorry for the long URL.
I mention it because, aside from being a nice piece, it's a repaint, by the Mondia factory, sez the seller, and the lug-lining is a much better job than you ever saw, usually, on 70s Specials or Supers..although the Supers were probably a little tidier in general.
Apropos of which, I always wondered what happened to the original Mondia company.
The Swiss bike maker now called Mondia has no institutional memory of the earlier Mondia at all. I'm assuming the original company went under, and the name was resurrected later (I had some correspondence with them the new company..)
anybody here know more?
