Got a Univega Super Special frameset today. Recall earlier discussion on high-end Univegas, did they have Camp. equipment, etc.
This frame has Campagnolo dropouts and fork ends, Champion tubing and a Dura Ace EX sticker on it. Colour is pinkish red with silver lettering, long point lugs with diamond cutouts, but also heart cut-outs in fork tangs.
Neat little frame, thin lugs, not sure if production or better. Anyone know more about the Super Special? Love the name.
Included were wheels that may have first generation Dura Ace cassette hubs, 6 speed with little cog as the screwed-on retaining piece. I'd never seen these before.
