Since the subject of blue Bartalis has arisen and most likely never will again here, I'd like to share some photos of mine. My Bartali appears to be of French manufacture with metric 531 and French threading. A little quick steering compared to my Cinelli, and doesn't "disappear beneath me" like that bike, but still a very fun bike to ride and it frequently gets admirin g looks and comments from bikies and non-bikies alike. And unlike my Speciale Corsa, I need never worry about seeing another one even at a gathering of classic bikes. Beyond rare in the US- I like that. http://fineartscrimshaw.com/bartali_full.jpg http://fineartscrimshaw.com/bartali_drivetrain.jpg http://fineartscrimshaw.com/bartali_headtube.jpg http://fineartscrimshaw.com/bartali_fork-crown.jpg http://fineartscrimshaw.com/bartali_seatlug.jpg Kurt Sperry Bellingham WA
Bidding has already ended on the blue Bartali, but still worth a look:
