Waaaay cool frame. Totally authentic, hands on craftwork.. No automaton made that puppy!

But the serial, number stamped in the down tube! Ouch! Now, after my saying "serial number", it occurs to me, is it possible that someone did that after the fact, i.e., not the builder? The stamp charcater size seems smaller than the size as stamped in the bb shell.
