Peter, That would be great if you could speak to Dave about this. I went to secondary school in 1959 and I am sure they came out late that year. I seem to recall that they were used on a frame called the Carlton Capella first of all and it was bloody expensive you could get it with chrome crown or head lugs or in an all chrome show finish. It was priced at £20-10-0 in the better finish. This was a staggering price when you could get a Ted Gerrard 531 butted Nervax Pro lugged road frame for £12-19-6 ( North London 60's clubmens choice) or an Allin Stan Butler curly for £16.16.0. When I get sometime I will get up into the loft and have a look for some of my schoolboy copies of the "Comic" (Cycling and Mopeds) to try and find the press release and adverts for Carlton Capella's. Best wishes Mick B. Huntingdon. --
