Hello CR members,
The day was beautiful (another Californian sunday), but what was of real splendor were the people and the bicycles; these were sublime. I had a great time speaking to CR members/bike enthusiast and seeing the astonishing example of classic bicycles. Both of these features were of great importance to me. I add myself to the list of people that thank the organizers and the participants for making this happen. It is out of the ordinary to be able to converse with enthusiast, collectors, painters and builders. Aside from seeing the details of Masis, Colnagos, Taylors, Singers, Herses, Hurlows, etc., it was wonderful to be able to learn from the Johnson, Roberson, Gordon, and Baylis examples present there. The Masi party was also very informative: its chronological order was a great idea: from stamped to investment cast. Cheers to the Socal-Brooklyn connection that gave a discerning eye.
