The problem is that the item you have is not the item you want. You really want a near perfect used group that you can use without guilt. The bad news is that is not what you own.

What to do? Maybe think about maximizing the aggegate worth of your 50th holdings. Lets figure the in box group at $2,500 and a really nice used group at 1K. Buy a used group and your total worth of groups is now 3.5K. Deduct the 1K for the purchase price, and your at $2,500 (which is what you started with). If you use the new group, your 50th group worth falls from $2,500 to $1,000.

So not counting interest and transactions costs, you're $1,500 worse off by using the new 50th group.

The best move financially would be sell the new group, buy the used one, and you put $1,500 in your pocket. If you have the time, that is the move I advise.

Note that I am not a financial advisor, (although I sometimes pretend to be an economist during working hours) so this advise is probably worth what you paid for it.
