Those who already have received the latest Vintage Bicycle Quarterly have read that I like these tires so much that I decided to import them in a one-time deal. I'd like to extend this offer to all interested.

Summary: The Grand Bois Cypres tires was made for I's Bicycle in Kyoto, one of the shops in Japan that make the French-inspired touring bikes we see online once in a while. It is a beautiful tires (file tread, grey sidewalls, understated logo), it is light, supple, fast - the perfect tire in that size.

Apart from new bikes and conversions, it is especially useful for 650B bikes from the late 1950s onward originally equipped with the long-gone Wolber "Super Randonneur" or "Tandem" tires. All other current tires either are too wide for these bikes, or don't offer good performance.
