Regarding the seller of the Sachs.... "de_buyker" I had sometime back e-mailed him about a ridiculous description and dating of a Colnago. This guy came back at me as vicious as they come and right for the throat. I really thought this guy was kidding. He said he was an x-New York cop and had dealt with punks like me !? all his life and what did I know and his description came from the guy he bought it from so who was I to question it. It went on and on like he had just come off his medication. Scary Bad!! I might have insinuated that he just took his first creative writing class and had gone way overboard on all his auction descriptions-that put him into the stratosphere...and a stream of invective language followed. Funny thing is that his descriptions are toned down from before but still quite campy ....the other non bicycle meaning ;^)
Needless to say I learned my lesson.

That seller ought to issue a barf bag with his item descriptions. Hyperbole was never this awful. What a shame with a nice piece of metal work underneath that crappy paint. I bet Richie shudders seeing those nasty pin stripes. That guy got hold of old decals methinks. the year may be correct, just not the "transfers"
