OK, so I'm hooked now too on purchasing some of these reproduction hoods. I swear not to tell who sold them to me if that is the seller's concern. My hats off to whoever had the ambition to have these much sought after hoods reproduced. The posts on the lists regarding them have obviously generated interest --- pure marketing genius!!!
Sorry that you have encountered some sour grapes about them, for it sounds like some may be simply disappointed that you beat them to the punch!!!
Am happy to purchase them as reproductions, and will point them out as such if they ever happen to be installed on a bike I offer for sale ---- Honesty is always the best policy in whatever you do in life.
