Bill, with all due respect, many people find these topics of interest..
If you don't, just exercise your delete key! All these Retro parts and Trek messages clearly are identifiable so just don't open those e-mails.
It is also "my call" to curtail threads (I rarely do if they are on-topic). The rest of you have to suffer in silence. If you think a thread or topic is ridiculous, dumb or off topic, you can complain to me directly if you like, but do not complain to the whole list as that has a chilling effect on participation.
