Subject: [CR]FS: Campy brake hoods

Folks,

A propos of the current thread, I have a pair of NOS Campy brake hoods which I'm offering to the list before trying eBay. I am not an expert on Campy gear, so rather than make claims, I'll describe them as best I can, and entertain your questions off list.

I bought these around 2000, intending to replace the aging hoods on my Dura-Ace levers. When I bought them from the International Bicycle Center in Brighton, MA., they were old stock, but I have no idea how old they are. I subsequently learned they wouldn't fit my Shimanos well, so I never used them.

They are gum, with Campy logos and come with the original instruction sheet. The packaging is simply a plastic bag with the bike store's label. The bag itself has been ripped open but the hoods look pristine, and the instructions are fine if slightly curled at the edges. (I know this is excessive detail, but assume it might matter to someone.)

Anyway, if you're interested, please e-mail me off list, suggesting a price inclusive of shipping. Assuming I get what I think are reasonable offers, I will sell to the highest bidder.

cheers,
Scot Osterweil
