Hey, it's no fake! I know (intimately) which bike you're talking about. It was mine for 4 years until the Cirque this year; Mike finally ended up with it. The paint was scratched, but original - no dents. Brian Baylis opined that it was made in 1970 due the the cut outs in the lugs vs. the old style headbadge.

I had it set up beautifully for (almost) exclusive riding at the Trexlertown velodrome. A honey Brooks Swallow, tape shellaced to match. All classic Campagnolo groupo including Campagnolo high flange track hubs, tied & soldered with dark Campagnolo rims & orange Continental Competition tubulars*. It caught the eye of many a national champion rider.

It was my only bike that would fit a Classic Rendezvous category. However health and personal problems forced me to quit riding competitively & so was surplus to my needs. I made a bundle of money selling it and the other track items I had.
