Hi All, I recently go hold of a copy of a late 30's Trivelox Catalog to help in the installation of a Trivelox A1 3-speed derailleur. While reading this I came upon a I year mileage record by Walter Greaves using of course a Trivelox Gear. While I know that he improved on the mileage (43,383) mentioned in the Catalog, and was eventually outdistanced by later riders, does anyone know if his mileage as a one-armed cyclist has ever been bettered? The Catalog shows him on a bike with what looks like half a handlebar, equipped with Resilion Cantilever front and rear brakes operated by a single dual cable lever. It is hard to tell where the gear change lever is, although the Trivelox normally came with a top tube mounted changer similar to the SA quadrant changer, that would seem like an iffy location when riding single handed.
