I have a Gillot handle bar stem for sale. Chrome plated but looks to have been polished hard, probably to remove rust. "Gillot" is stamped on the handlebar clamp. Also the number 6983 is stamped in the column my guess is that this corresponds to the frame it was originally sold with.
so if someone on the list own gillot no 6983, then have your stem. All though it is for sale to any one with money! well I have to eat.
