Would just like to remind those of you within striking distance of New Britain Conn. about the vintage ride announced to the list by Mark Hoffman. ESPECIALLY FELLOW BVVW members (JP are you listening) who need to get out into the country! The weather looks to be clear and crisp....a perfect day for an easy end of season ride along a Connecticut river. Hope to see some of you this Sunday at Doug Day's house around 10:00 or so. Bring stuff to swap as there will certainly be an opportunity. Edward Albert -- planning on riding his 650B 72 Singer if the sun shines -- in chilly Chappaqua, NY

Mark Hoffman's post and directions: We are still planning a get-together this coming Sunday, Nov. 20. We will be meeting at Doug Day's House after 10 a.m. and will be doing a ride starting sometime after 11. http://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result?addr=16+laurel+Rd&csz=New+Britain%2C+CT&country=us&new=1&name=&qty=

Doug is clearing out his garage and basement to make room for bikes we can display and talk about after the ride. Sue Day will be making some food, as will my wife (Sausage stew). Contributions of other food welcomed.

This is a first time testing of the water for us. Sorry it's so late in the year. Dress appropriately for 40 degree weather. I can be reached at 860-913-8596
