Regarding the difficulties of wrapping cloth handlebar tape without wrinkles :

I usually "wiggle" the tape back and forth as I wrap the cloth tape.

But I was thinkin' (always dangerous) that maybe the trick is to pour boiling water over the imperfectly wrapped bars to "shrink to fit " the tape to the bars ? <G>
