In about 1986 or so I attended the Bicycle Dealers Showcase in SoCal. Canopus had a booth... I bought one, built it up and rode it for about a year then sold it when I found my first Paramount. It was a decent enough bike, but I never warmed up to the color...gray and pukey yellow. They offered another one that was the same gray and a kind of wine color, but it wasn't available in my size. I believe they were built in Argentina, and I'm pretty sure they were introduced in this country that year, but of course they could have been selling in So. America well before I bought mine.

Anyone heard of this bike from Brasil or Colombia? Columbus tubing, Columbus dropouts. That's all I know about it.

Are there any other south american frame builders that would be of interest to the CR listers?
