Subject: [CR]A couple of Raleigh questions

It's a cold, rainy, dead day at work giving me lots of time to go through old archives - unfortunately, what I'm looking for hasn't come up. In the process of gathering parts and information for my 60's Gran Sport, I got a couple of questions for those who know 60's Raleighs

1. I need a proper 60's Raleigh high flange threaded rear hub. Actually, if I could pick up a pair of hubs, I'd be even happier. Clean and decent working condition preferred. If you've got a source, or have any available, contact me off list.

2. Has anyone ever taken the time to do a paint equivalency search (aka, finding out what exists in modern available spray paints that closely match what the factory used back then)? While I'm considering all three possible colors for my bike (red, blue, gold), a lot is going to be decided on how easy it's going to be to match the paint.

3. Also, anyone know of a source for period Raleigh frame decals? NOS or repro's, either are fine with me.

Thanks,

George R. "Syke" Paczolt Montpelier, VA
