Concerning Peter and Mike's mention of this 1940s bronze-welded bike, I am certain that there has been a lead on the CR LIst in recent months to just such a bike.
It's just a hunch, but I think that Peter Paine has one..and no doubt if he reads this message he will oblige us all with some photos, or leads to them.
