Subject: [CR]WTB: chain tensioner(s) and other parts needed for '38 Schwinn Superior Racer

CR members,

Does anyone have one or two chain tensioners (adjusters) that look like the one in the following linked picture?

http://www.thecabe.com/arc/vintageroad/1938%20Schwinn%20Superior%20REP%20 sample/SchwinnSuperiorRepsample3.jpg

My '38 Schwinn Superior Racer came with only one of these and it's cracked, but useable. I'd like to get two good ones, but even one would do.

Also still looking for:

1. Schwinn adjustable track stem (as used on Schwinn Paramounts and Superiors from 1938 into the 50s). I'd even be happy to buy one that is rusty/broken.

2. Deep drop steel track bars with the classic '30s to '50s bend. Given the "right" shape I'd be interested even if they would need replating.

3. 26.8mm chromed steel or aluminum seatpost engraved with "Schwinn" in script lettering.

4. 30s or 40s vintage steel or aluminum toe clips

Bike is now painted, decaled, rechromed, has many of the original/correct parts, and is rideable (and has been ridden). I'm trying to make it as correct as possible in time for next year's Cirque.

Please respond off-list if you can help with this restoration.
