Thanks John and everyone, 82 (as earliest possible) will do fine. The 83 Raleigh catalogue at Mark Bulgiers site is the first to mention 531c, the 8 2 catalogue just mentions 531. And, yes, 531c is just the 'ordinary' tubing, successor to 531DB I guess.
