Subject: [CR]Legnano on e-bay

After a lot of "do I restore it?" "Don't I restore it?" I have put my 1970 something Legnano frame on e-bay, complete with spelling mistake (Bossi insead of Bozzi!) \ufffc \ufffc It dates from the Bozzi, rather than Bianchi era. Campag ends and BB braze ons for cables. Complete with very pretty and I imagine quite rare Legnano headset. It is a Mod 54 Special. No tubing sticker - Columbus? But could be 531 DB, I understand Sig. Bozzi inroduced Woolsit to Italy and was a bit of an anglophile on the bike front.

It has a 6 world championships sticker- does that help date it? Frame

is true, not a single dent, though suffering quite a few 'bikeshed' blemishes to its original pearlescent green paintwork. There's a bit of surface corrosion on the chromed fork crown, but it isn't pitted. Unless you're an Eroica fan who loves 'patina' it needs a repaint.

Top of seat tube to centre BB is 51cm. Seat tube to head tube is also

51. Enabling you to show plenty of stem and seat pillar, as is the fashion these days...

Any questions please ask.
