Soukhorouchenkov USSR won the road race, Czeslaw Lang of Poland was second and Barinov USSR was third. I'm fairly certain that the Russians rode Colnago bikes. I think the Poles rode Ciocc- not sure about the spelling. Re the hour record I read someplace that Rominger's frame was second hand! It had been used by a Russian pursuiter, maybe Ekimov?
