Grant, if this is the Raleigh Pro recently on eBay, it's almost certainly a repaint. Even considering the "anything goes if it's Bike Boom Era Raleigh", I've never seen or heard of a black/red Pro. This looks like it was repainted to emulate the classic Motobecane livery of the era.

Your single best source of information on this machine is the RetroRaleighs site which is uniquely devoted to Raleighs for the North American market. This has an especially good section on the Pro outlining the myriad differences between years, components and some detailed photos as well. I just wish we had a similar site for the UK market Carltons/Raleighs!
