I had one of those frames and can verify that the paint scheme on that frame is indeed original. The photos do not do the color combo justice as the silver main frame with burgundy head tube, black head lugs and gold pin striping is an awesome combination and looks very pretty to the eye. Mine had Campagnolo long dropouts w/eyelets and the chrome was very good quality with a nice deep luster. Craftsmanship, as I recall was good - not typical sloppy French production work but not highly refined either. I bought it as a frameset and sold it that way so cannot comment on the ride. The triangular Columbus decal was cool looking but, if I recall correctly the frame was a bit heavy. Not sure where in their model line-up it was but must have been close to the top.
