Before this goes to Ebay I am offering it to the list. The nitty gritty is as follows: 1. 1967 Cinelli Model “B” repainted and decaled by Peter Weigle. 2. Size (with a bow to Greg Parker) is 56.5cm C to C, 58cm C to T. Top tube is 58 cm C to C. Stand over height is 32.75 inches or 82.5 cm. 3. It is equipped with parts that are generally period correct for the bike. Campagnolo Record 36 hole small flange hubs, Martano rims, Campagnolo “Record” rear derailleur, early Campy front parallelogram derailleur, Cinelli old logo Giro d’ Italia bars and 11.5cm stem, Campagnolo 177.5 (really) old bolt circle crankset with 49/54 chainrings in excellent condition, Campy two bolt Nuovo Record seat pin and plastic (no leather or padding) Unicanitor saddle, NOS Universal 61 centerpull brakes with soft new hoods, Campagnolo steel pedals with Christophe clips and straps.

The long story was that I bought this with some of the parts from its original owner, a guy I ride with. He grew up in Sommerville, N.J. and bought the bike from Kopps Cycles when he was 16 or so and in high school. He started racing for the Sommerset Schwinn club and had to choose between either riding a Paramount or painting his beloved Cinelli Schwinn red. He opted for the latter. The bike never was the Cinilli grey it is now but was, originally, a dark shade of red. Many of the original parts were the cheapest he could afford (steel cottered cranks, etc.) and he upgraded some of them as soon as he could afford to. He stopped racing when he went off to college and the bike spent most of the last 30 years hung in his garage. I had the frame redone several years ago by Peter Weigle and, since it is way too big for me, it has never been ridden since. There is no rust but the original chrome, although in nice shape with no pitting, is a bit thin. I am asking $2300 plus shipping. I have posted numerous pictures of the bike on my Wooljersey space at the following:

I have some very high resolution pics if you want me to email them, but you will need a lot of email space to accommodate the large files. It would probably be best to let me know exactly what you would like to see so I can send just the appropriate shots.
