a braze-on front derailleur mount. Did Simplex make a braze-on style derailleur in this series? Attacking the braze -on with a grinder is out of the question as the combined frame/group will be unusual and unique. The LJ fixtures cannot be changed like you can a NR/SR derailleur.
I have a braze-on Simplex front derailleur, however it does not use the Campagnolo/Shimano style of braze-on. It uses the "French" style one which is effectively a single water-bottle boss.
