To me the beauty of what is on topic or not on this list is that although there are rules, generally when folks of good intention and any degree of taste at all even find any subject debatable as to whether on topic or not the rest of us, even (Or especially?) the venerated List Meister allow enough slack to make good communication on the matter not only possible , but enjoyable. Certainly bikes both with and without lugs can be exactly on topic for us, although my own taste strongly resembles Lou's. I sold what was probably the best bike I ever owned to Mark Poore precisely because I loved lugs so much and that bike did not have them. I still shake my head about that one... Now about this breath takingly beautiful line of C Record Components that Campagnolo produced...certainly the most beautiful components ever...
