You should consult some back issues of News and Views to find info on Kamp cycles. I'm surprised to see a frame with the Balls Pond Road address. Kamp Sport were in Palmers Green, North London. Of course they may have had two shops at that time as did Condor. As I understand it, Bert Kamp was into everything German and changed his name to Kamp from Camp. He even used to ride wearing leiderhosen instead of cycling shorts but was nevertheless a useful rider. I was told that he and his wife liked to smoke in bed and sadly this habit hastened their demise as they burnt their house down one night! Theres a story for the Classic Rendezvous archive!
