I bought a couple of the SA Chain protectors many years ago while wrenching for Lee's Cylery, I used to have a two cable SA five speed that I laced into a 26" rim for Mt. Biking. The protectors worked pretty well for me and I believe that I still have them somewhere in my shop.

Has anyone actually seen on of these accessories? I've seen an illustration in a photocopied page of "The Cycling Handbook" but not in the flesh. Does anyone have one?
