I also was scratching my noggin' as to how those levers with shield logos and handle shape get the "first generation" description. Though nice and all, they didn't look right, but the seller is well known and active on CR, so I figure to let the experts sort it out. I don't ever trust what I think I "know" these days.

But then I looked at the under-bidder and thought... well now, HE oughta know!

As a Ebay seller concerned with fairness and accuracy, I take great pains to research my listings and CR members and website are a bottomless well of info. But when I check recent sales on Ebay, I find stuff like this. Same seller listed Super Record hubs, of which (a) I thought were supposed to have titanium axles and (b) either never really existed or are so rare as to make Dale's pricebuster page quite easily.

and so it goes. Caveat emptor as always I suppose and value is in the beholders eyes.
