Well, Norris what can say in reply to all that? Except to put on an lp of Napoleonic March Music and polish my Peugeot PX-10!

You'll get no argument out of me on any of this. No one on this list reveres more the plain 'ol racing bikes, the ones built to win races not impress with frou-frou lugwork and gee-gaws. And if the French, as seems to mostly the case, felt this way when it came to their bikes... all the better for it. Not long ago we were asked to nominate our "dream" wished for French bike. Well I said I already owned it... my '69 PX-10. The one that cost about $220 new.

But yep.. I want that Peugeot Pro of yours so bad, I think I'll chop off about nine inches of inseam....

You should post some pix of this... I've never seen a 753 transfer in French (assuming it is) before for starters.
