The chrome platers that Franklin Frames uses is one called Custom Chrome in Grafton, Ohio. This is the site for it:

http://www.customchromeplating.com/

I am certainly not trying to cut Jack of Franklin Frames out his share; he is the one who originally gave me their name and encouraged me to contact them directly. I have had several small items done by Custom Chrome--crankarms, pedals--and their work is excellent (though I am not so sure that I would take my judgment of quality as a measure: afterall, easil y pleased I am).

For whatever it's worth,
