My first track bike was a Harry Quinn bought new in 1961. I fitted an S/H Williams 3 arm steel chainset( C1200?). It always ran tight and slack, enough to make me feel nervous kicking back in a tight bunch. I eventually upgraded to Campag record and it was the same and I figured maybe the bottom bracket shell wasn't square to the line through the wheels. Could that be possible?
