i can support your feelings about the regard for Woodrups. I learnt my cycling with West Yorkchire Clubs (Condor Road Club). I would say that woodrups were better though of, by the guys in the Calder valley. Purely anecdotal no doubt. I am not partisan because i never had either. I had a Pavone and an Ellis.
Incidently I read for my Min. Eng. at Newcastle.
